About the person
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Miran Možina is the Head of the Department in Ljubljana. After completing his Master's at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ljubljana, he specialized in psychiatry and worked as a psychiatrist at the Psychiatric Hospital Vojnik. He also completed systemic psychotherapy training at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb and runs a private psychotherapy practice.
Additionally, Možina served as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Ljubljana and led the volunteer project ODMEV, which provides psychosocial support to children, adolescents, and families. He completed his training as a teacher of systemic family therapy at VFT Munich and holds the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) as well as a license for supervision in social care.
In 2006, he initiated a project in collaboration with the Sigmund Freud University Vienna to start a Psychotherapy Science study program. Since 2013, he has been a lecturer and director at SFU Ljubljana and leads the training in systemic psychotherapy. Možina’s extensive experience and dedication to psychotherapy education have made him a leading figure in his field.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Miran Možina ist der Leiter des Departments Ljubljana. Nachdem er seinen Master an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Ljubljana abgeschlossen hatte, spezialisierte er sich in Psychiatrie und arbeitete als Psychiater im Psychiatrischen Krankenhaus Vojnik. Weiterhin absolvierte er eine Ausbildung in systemischer Psychotherapie an der Medizinischen Fakultät in Zagreb und führt eine private psychotherapeutische Praxis.
Zusätzlich war Možina als Assistent an der Fakultät für Sozialarbeit der Universität Ljubljana tätig und leitete das freiwillige Projekt ODMEV, das psychosoziale Hilfe für Kinder, Jugendliche und Familien bietet. Er schloss seine Ausbildung zum Lehrer für systemische Familientherapie am VFT München ab und besitzt das Europäische Zertifikat für Psychotherapie (ECP) sowie eine Lizenz für Supervision im Sozialwesen.
2006 initiierte er in Zusammenarbeit mit der Sigmund Freud Universität Wien das Projekt des Studiengangs Psychotherapiewissenschaft. Seit 2013 ist er Dozent und Direktor der SFU Ljubljana und leitet die Ausbildung in systemischer Psychotherapie. Možinas umfassende Erfahrung und sein Engagement für die Psychotherapieausbildung haben ihn zu einer führenden Persönlichkeit in seinem Fachbereich gemacht.
