Univ.-Ass. Dr. Christine Korischek is a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science at Sigmund Freud University in Vienna. She studied Sinology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Vienna and completed her doctoral studies at SFU Vienna.
Her academic work includes her collaboration with the Institute for Transcultural and Historical Research at SFU Vienna, where she was deeply involved in the archival processing of the estate of Paul Parin and Goldy Parin-Matthèy. Her research focuses on transcultural psychotherapy research, particularly in the organization and supervision of field research excursions for SFU students.
Through her interdisciplinary expertise, Dr. Korischek connects psychotherapeutic, cultural, and historical perspectives, making a significant contribution to the advancement of transcultural research within psychotherapy science. Univ.-Ass. Dr. Christine Korischek ist als Lektorin an der Fakultät für Psychotherapiewissenschaft an der Sigmund Freud Universität in Wien tätig. Sie hat Sinologie und Kulturanthropologie an der Universität Wien studiert und ihr Doktoratsstudium an der SFU Wien absolviert.
Ihre wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit umfasst die Mitarbeit am Institut für transkulturelle und historische Forschung an der SFU Wien, wo sie sich intensiv mit der Erschließung des Nachlasses von Paul Parin und Goldy Parin-Matthèy beschäftigt hat. Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt in der transkulturellen Psychotherapieforschung, insbesondere in der Organisation und Durchführung von Feldforschungsexkursionen für Studierende der SFU.
